Packing Up and Moving Back Home

One of my mom’s favorite sayings was, “nothing beats a failure but a try.”
While I don’t consider starting a second blog a failure, it was certainly a challenge and way more work than I anticipated. Moving forward I’ve decided that it’s best for my productivity to move my tablescapes and DIY projects back to Sweet Sensations where they all started. I will no longer post new content at Around My Table.

This was not an easy decision to make. It took some months for me to let go of my ego and make this decision. The URL http://www.aroundmytable will remain up for a little while longer as I make the transition. For those of you have subscribed to posts at Around My Table I ask that you subscribe to Sweet Sensations, the link is towards the bottom of the home page. I promise to continue to share lots of tables, parties, DIY projects plus tons of sweet treats.

I appreciate all of your support and comments on my tables and projects and hope you will still be around. Who says you can’t go home again!

Love and Light,
Sandra

You’re one of a few of my blogger friends who have been managing two blogs—and I can barely keep up with one! I think you’ve made a wise decision—especially if it makes life easier 🙂

I can only imagine how tough it must be to maintain TWO sites. It’s hard enough for me to finagle just one! I can understand the motivation behind splitting up, but I have a feeling you won’t miss a beat when you return to the other format. I will continue to follow!

I will definitely subscribe to Sweet Sensations. Congratulations on your efforts to expand to a second blog: remember, nothing ventured, nothing gained….I’m proud of your efforts. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

Keeping up with two blogs is no easy task… I can’t imagine doing it! I totally support your decision ” to come home again.” Your beautiful recipes and gorgeous tablescapes are both parts of you and your overall theme on how to entertain like pro. I think putting both those passions under Sweet Sensation is really describing you in one total picture/blog. You are definitely one lady that is summed up in the words Sweet Sensations because you are sweet and your are sensational!! 🙂 I wish you much success in your blogging adventures. 🙂

Just wanted to say that I truly enjoyed this site. It’s really hard to even maintain one blog, and you did a marvelous job keeping up two! I mean creating contents for two blogs, that’s amazing. You should be very proud of yourself! The upside is that we get to see BOTH content at the same time when I visit you. 😉
